Wednesday, January 12, 2011. New year, new search for venues. Swing Street had a great year last year. We enjoyed playing big band music for Parkwood Estate on a couple of occasions and our new client, the Oshawa Public Libraries. We hope there will be more events for these organizations. Danielle will be singing and she has a few new charts such as Old Black Magic and Cheek to Cheek.

Swing Street is a 17-piece big band based in southeast Minnesota with a repertoire including hits from Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Stan Kenton, Buddy Rich, Woody Herman, Arturo Sandoval, Gordon Goodwin, and many more! The Swing Street song list spans several decades and musical styles, so it is possible to tailor each performance to match the particular needs of weddings, private parties, dances, concerts, and corporate events.
